Stevanato Group’s history has its roots in the foundation of Soffieria Stella in Zelarino, near Venice, which specialized in the production of glass bottles. In 1959, the glassware factory moved to Piombino Dese and closed a few years later.
Ompi, the specialist in glass primary packaging, was born in its current location in Piombino Dese, Padua. A few years later, leveraging on its in-house technological competencies brought in by Spami, which is dedicated to the production of glass converting lines, the company will develop a unique expertise in the production of high-quality glass primary packaging.
Spami is established in Piombino Dese. It is a company specializing in the design and production of high-speed, high-precision glass forming lines to obtain high-quality containers from tubing.
