Don Morel and Madhavan Balachandran join Stevanato Group’s Advisory Board

Piombino Dese (Padua, Italy), July 17, 2017 ‒ Italian Stevanato Group is glad to announce that two industry experts have joined the Company to be part of its Advisory Board, the internal body, supporting the CEO on strategic topics linked to the Group vision. The function will be giving independent advice on business opportunities, product portfolio strategy and geographic growth.

Prior to joining Stevanato Group, at their tenure at West Pharma and Amgen respectively, Dr. Donald Morel (also known as Don)  and Mr. Madhavan Balachandran (also known as Madhu) have been leading a number of developments in the field of packaging components, delivery systems for injectable drugs and healthcare products as well as biotechnologies.

Donald Morel’s insights on market trends coupled with Madhavan Balachandran’s experience in handling large operations will help lead innovations while ensuring the quality standards and equality at Stevanato Group plants. They have also played a crucial role for the successful transformation of large corporations.

Their experience will be beneficial in the expansion of the Group product portfolio towards high added value systems. After the acquisition of Balda for plastic molding and systems and SVM for assembly, packaging and serialization systems, Stevanato Group is uniquely positioned to offer a whole round solution under the same roof.
